i uploaded my game gooby for the flash forward jam to github under MIT license, if anyone wants to mess around with it feel free to do so :)

made in Animate 2020 using as3 (which works really well in ruffle now, was very happy to see that!)
removed the music but you can find the tracks in the credits on the page of the game
you can play it here!

a work in progress scene for our upcoming game The Ballad of Bonky

We put a lot of care into it and we're quite proud of how it turned out.
Please check it out and let us hear your thoughts!
Cobcris and I met here on newgrounds about 7 years ago, very exciting to release this together now. Newgrounds has been a huge inspiration and I'd love to release the demo here too, but I'll have to see if it's possible to run on an average PC with HTML5
Thank you!

Some behind the scenes of the blender models for my Flash Forward Jam entry. When I make these models, I trace a 2D screenshot and I only look at them from one angle, so it's funny to see how wrong they are when you turn them around. The clay material was made using substance designer.
Some other sprites, like the pico characters, were made by cobcris using real clay

Just wanted to quickly recap the last animation jam round
I don't know why I could do this but I decided to make a game and an animation for robot day/animation jam, in 2 weeks, while going to Hong Kong in the first week (which was a lot of fun). In hong kong I made a few drawings but nothing substantial. So the last days I was sleeping for maybe an hour every night.
Still I didn't manage to make the robot game as I hoped. I uploaded it in a super broken and contentless state (just 3 boring levels). I'm still working on it and updating it. I don't know where that places me in the competition, the date is on roboy day but am I still allowed to win that way?
But the most important thing is that I'm just really excited to be working hard again, hope you all missed me ;) (and that I can keep it up)
Going to start on the next animation round right now!
